Highway 58 Animal Hospital and Laparoscopic Surgery Center is a full service state-of-the-art animal care facility that has been serving the medical needs of pet owners in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the surrounding areas since 1977. Providing high quality medicine while maintaining affordable costs for our clients, Highway 58 Animal Hospital sets itself apart from other veterinary clinics by offering a wide variety of services and surgeries that are typically found only at referral centers. Some of the advanced services we offer include Computerized Tomography (CT) scans, laparoscopic surgery, spinal surgery for disc disease, and TTA and Arthroscopy for ruptured cruciate ligaments. We use an HD Videoscope to evaluate and treat ears. For more severe ear cases, we offer TECA (total ear canal ablation) and Bulla Osteotomy.

You and your pet are important to us, therefore we deliver our veterinary services with the utmost courtesy and respect. In order to lower pet anxiety levels, we maintain separate waiting areas and exam rooms for dogs and cats. Clinic History
Highway 58 Animal Hospital was established in 1977 by Dr. Lebron Brock. In 2000, Dr. Brock hired Dr. Shane Whitaker who became a partner in the hospital in 2005. The practice grew through the loyalty of pet owners in Chattanooga and the surrounding communities of Hixson, Harrison, and Ooltewah. In October of 2014, Dr. Brock and Dr. Whitaker opened a new state-of-the-art facility.
Staying at the forefront of cutting-edge veterinary techniques, the doctors at Highway 58 Animal Hospital added laparoscopic procedures to our services in 2016, and Computerized Tomography (CT) capabilities in 2017. A key component to excellence in veterinary care is keeping up with the continuous advancement of medical techniques and technology. Our doctors are committed to participating in continuing education so that they provide pets with the latest improvements available.
